Andrea Gallo is a graphic designer from Milan, Italy. In this beautiful minimalist series he shows the masters of architecture from the 50s, 60s and 70s. In this time, several art movements were very important, for example modernism. In architecture this refers to Functionalism, New Architecture and the International style, in which function was more important than form: basic geometric shapes, flat roofs and use of modern materials, such as concrete.
These prints are consistent with the era in which the architects lived but also with our era. By means of the minimalist look and graphical forms you can recognize who these architects were and what style they had. I love the art and would like to have a couple in my house.
